  We’re disgusted with LTD Motors - customer service, boat service tech, and quality all deserve the poorest rating (one star is too good for them). They “repaired” our boat on 3 occassions for trim, pump, and power lagging issues, and its worse now than when we dropped it off! Mike, their service tech, ensured us personally that our boat was his sole priority and would be completed 100%. LTD had our boat 4 months and mid-service Mike basically fell off the map. No one from LTD reassigned our boat to anyone else, nor did they call us to tell us our boat was sitting for nearly FOUR months untouched. We struggled every single time we tried to contact them for a status on our boat, being told "We'll get back with you tomorrow" with absolutely no returned calls for weeks on end. I literally thought they totalled our boat and were hiding it.... till I found out they never even tested in in the water. To top it off the first time we took the boat out after paying them $1900 to "fix" it, it broke down in less than 10 minutes on the water. Michelle said "I told you the boat wasn't done when you picked it up", which is an outright LIE. She herself called us to inform us it was ready, we drove 3 hours to get it & paid their final bill No way would we have accepted or paid for a boat that was not fixed. Next, she blamed thre break down issue on how we installed the starter ourselves - an incorrectly installed starter wouldn't have even started the boat, much less caused a complete power failure. We had it fixed by a reputable company here locally and it was a bad battery connection - the starter was fine. The very next time (which is the only other time it's been on the water since receiving our boat from LTD) our boat smoked heavily & won’t go above 2500 RPM, or get up on a plane, and the power steering is gone completely. When we called this time, Michelle blamed the shop that repaired the battery connector. We picked up the boat in May, used it twice, it broke down and is too dangerous to even put back in the water. The absolutel WORST experience of my life. I wouldn't receommend this company to Satan!

  We are disgusted with the service we've received from LTD Motors; their customer service, maint tech, & their work. We decided the 1st time they "repaired" our boat that we would never give them our boat again because the work that was performed did not fix the issue. But, LTD is the only known service shop near our river house, so we felt we had to send it to them to resolve the power issue & a yearly service. This time the boat still had power issues & now leaked lower unit oil, we even found THEIR tools in our engine compartment. Reluctantly and now regretably we gave it to them a 3rd time to repair the trim, water pump, & again fix the power issue. Their service tech Mike contacted us quickly & talked to me 20 min. about his extensive experience & stated that my boat was HIS priority. He told me he was confident he could resolve the issues 100%. He built himself up pretty good & my confidence was restored that they may FINALLY fix our boat. After several conversations he still hadn't mentioned the power issue, so we reminded him in detail about how it sagged & struggled to get on a plane & he said he would get to it after the trim. Then, Mike basically fell off the map. We didn't hear from anyone at LTD for weeks on end. After 2.5+ months we had to start calling LTD almost daily for a status on our boat. At this point we thought something serious happened to our boat that they were hiding. They gave us every excuse in the book, from Mike's personal problems, to him getting injured & having to miss a lot of work. Instead of reassigning the work, they let it sit! Finally after 4 months of having our boat Michelle said the boat was ready to be picked up. Again we mentioned we hadn’t seen/heard anything on the power issue & reminded her that Mike said he was going to fix the power issue & check the carburetor THEY rebuilt less than one year ago & if there were issues, that he would fix that under warranty. At this point we were only talking with Michelle... I have no idea whatever happened to Mike. Michelle said that she only warranties the work done on the boat at the time, & that the carburetor would need to be rebuilt. After a bit of an argument, we decided to have them rebuild it AGAIN. We got the boat and it broke down in 10 min. We took it to a new mechanic and he said our carb needed to be rebuilt! WE PAID LTD to rebuild it less than a month ago, and they never did! When we demanded a refund, they refused and said for us to send it to them on our dime, and they would rebuild it. We already paid them to rebuild it and they didnt. They STOLE $290 from us! I wouldn't recommend LTD Motors to Satan. Mike the mechanic is incompetent and Michelle has zero customer service skills. It's my mission to ensure no one has to go through what I did.
